THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a very difficult to find General Television & Radio in a black Bakelite with creamy white accents. With its red airplane propeller style dial pointer and gold dial, it is beautiful when seen in a dimly lit room. It has a new clear dial lens and a new replacement back cover. The cabinet has been cleaned and carefully polished, yielding an absolutely beautiful glossy shine. Much like its cousin, the 5A5, it has a five tube chassis, but the 5B5 uses the updated loctal tubes. The chassis has been completely restored electrically and it plays and sounds very nice on the AM broadcast band. In addition, I have added a mini-jack, so that you may use your MP3 input device, giving you an unlimited content of your own music, making this beautiful little radio all the more enjoyable! 83/4"W x 6"H x 5-3/4"D. |
