Zenith Royal D7000Y Trans-Oceanic (1973)
(plastic tube portable radio w/FM/SW)

Zenith Royal D7000Y Trans-Oceanic (1973)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This pristine Zenith Trans-Oceanic Royal D7000Y was the last of the series made within the United States. There are eleven receiving band frequencies: BC (550-1620KC), FM (88-108 MC), SW1 (1.6-3.5MC), SW2 (3.5-9MC) 31M (9.4-10.1 MC), 25M (11.4-12.3 MC), 19M (14.6-15.8 MC), 16M (17.1-18.4 MC), 13M (20.6-22.4 MC), VHF (Weather) and LW (150-400 KC). The antenna is shiny, straight and easily extends to its full length. The battery compartment is very clean and unstained, plus the three clear plastic battery retainers are in place as they should be. The owner's log and AC power cord are included (note: the dial light and chart light work when batteries are in place per design--batteries not included). The time chart and compass work smoothly as do the controls and tuning. All the brushed and mirrored chrome are shiny, as are the handle, case and soft vinyl sides. Correct factory labels are intact on the bottom of the case. This is a wonderful sounding, very desirable Zenith. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer example as this, the last American made Trans-Oceanic. 14"W x 9"H x 6"D.
