THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
If you like original sets, here's a very nice little Arvin produced just after WWII, priced inexpensively for returning veterans. This is a four tube metal cased radio which uses an external wire antenna (conveniently wrapped around a cardboard keeper). The cabinet's original paint is very presentable and has a few very small "flea bites" plus there is some wear on the top, likely from the previous owner's hand as they tuned the radio to a station. Original knobs, original metal back, and the label is intact on the bottom. The electronics have been completely restored, plus the new power cord is polarized and fused for your safety. It's an amazing player on AM broadcast band and receives stations quite well, especially if you extend the included wire long antenna. 6"W x 5-1/4"H x 4"D. |
