THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This Emerson 652 has an ivory Plaskon cabinet that is clean as a whistle and with good surface luster. Plaskon is translucent, so the dial light causes much of the front panel to glow in the evening light. It's a nice compact set, so it won't take up much of your display space, and shipping will be inexpensive. Like every radio I sell, the chassis has been restored to like-new performance. It's an All American Five, and its performance and sound quality will surprise you. Reception with the built-in loop antenna is outstanding. Restoration included replacement of all electrolytic and paper capacitors, several new resistors, a full RF/IF alignment, and installation of a polarized power cord with modified hot-side switch for improved safety. 9-1/4"W x 6"H x 5-1/2"D. |
