Motorola 5R12AU (1951)
(plastic tube table radio)

Motorola 5R12AU (1951)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This cute little Motorola still looks great in its original factory ivory paint job, with just a few nicks visible on the left and right sides. The checkerboard grille and big red tuning knob make this radio a bit of an eye catcher. The chassis has been thoroughly restored, with all new capacitors, many new resistors, a new speaker, a silicon rectifier to replace the original selenium, and a full alignment so that it works like new. Sensitivity and sound quality are impressive for such a small radio. It's small and light enough that shipping will be inexpensive. 8-1/4"W x 5"H x 5"D.
