Airline 62-425 "Indian Head" (1936)
(wood tube table radio w/Aux or BT)

Airline 62-425 "Indian Head" (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Running out of space to display your collection? Here's a nice little one that leaves plenty of space for other radios. This Airline is sometimes called the "Indian Head" because of the shape of the grille cutout. The cabinet has been refinished; knobs and escutcheon are original. The handle on top appears not to be original, but is very old and was installed in a professional manner. The five-tube single band chassis has had a full electronic restoration and works like new, with strong tubes, new capacitors throughout, new resistors where needed, and a full RF/IF alignment. A new cloth vintage-style power cord has been provided along with a real vintage plug. A fuse has been added for improved safety. Sensitivity and sound quality are good for such a small package. Lighted dial. A small one like this won't cost much to ship. Bluetooth available. 10-1/2"W x 7-1/4"H x 6-1/4"D.
