Here's a compact Silvertone portable 78rpm phonograph in a two-tone metal case. This record player works like new, and provides a very convenient way to play that stack of old 78 records you may have stashed away. Restoration included cleaning and lubrication of the motor drive system, resurfacing of the idler wheel, replacement of all capacitors and selected resistors, installation of a modern polarized power cord with appropriate rewiring of the power switch for improved safety, repainting of the ivory part of the outside of the cabinet, replacement of the leather handle, and replacement of the missing cover latch with a small knob. The fuzz on the turntable is in very nice condition for its age. Overall, this unit is quite compact and light, so shipping will not break the bank. 12-3/4"W x 5-3/4"H x 7"D.
