Airline 84-HA-3002B Television (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
A ONE-DAY WONDER!

This wonderfully unconventional Airline 7" TV was made by Hallicrafters, a company more known for communications and amateur radio equipment than TVs. The pushbutton tuner gives this set a very distinctive design, and includes Channel 1. The chassis has been meticulously restored, with all new capacitors, a strong set of tubes, a full audio and video RF/IF alignment, a circuit mod for improved vertical retrace blanking, and an excellent picture tube for a nice clear picture. A new polarized power cord has been installed (along with wiring changes to make the set much safer than its original hot-chassis design). I can advise you on suitable analog TV signal sources and converters you can use to enjoy this set for watching DVDs or live TV signals. The cabinet has been refinished. Knobs, panel, and back are original. 20"W x 11"H x 16-1/2"D.
