Zenith X337W AM/FM (1967)
(wood tube table radio w/Aux or BT)

Zenith X337W AM/FM (1967)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Zenith AM/FM table radio houses a huge 8" woofer and 3" tweeter in its walnut veneered enclosure with plastic front grille. With speakers like this, Zenith's "high fidelity" claim on the front panel really meant something! 1967 was near the end of Zenith's domestic production of radios, yet this example still has Zenith's high quality of construction, with metal chassis and point-to-point wiring done by hand. The eight-tube chassis performs well, and has been fully restored with all electrolytic capacitors replaced and a full AM/FM alignment. The plastic grille has been thoroughly cleaned, and looks almost like new except for some wear in the chrome plating around the tuning knob and a tiny dent in the upper left of the aluminum trim panel. The walnut cabinet has been refinished, for an overall excellent appearance. A few original scuffs are still faintly visible on the sides, but not easily noticeable. 15-1/2"W x 10"H x 8"D.
