THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This Peter Pan mini cathedral has been fully restored, both electrically and cosmetically. The cabinet has been refinished with a careful eye toward matching the original cabinet coloration and finish, and the grille cloth has been replaced with a perfect match to the original. The walnut finish is somewhat less "red" than the pictures show. The radio has been electrically restored to work like new, with all new capacitors, new resistors where needed, a full alignment, and a new vintage-style power cord for safe operation. This radio dates from 1931 and has only four tubes with rather simple circuitry, yet it will tune in local stations very well with a short antenna wire. |
