THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This black dial pre-War Zenith is housed in a beautiful professionally refinished solid walnut case, one of only a few Zenith cases attributed to the Ingraham Cabinet Company. This was one of the last production runs before Zenith switched over to wartime operations. This case really looks great, no cosmetic problems, and is one of the most collectible Zenith sets ever made. The radio has a unique design where tube heat is released through slats in the top of the case. The chassis has been checked by my tech, and the six-tube chassis gets good reception, picking up all my local AM stations. The dial lamp works fine, and it has its original "Z" knobs, "Z" dial pointer, and a perfect new replacement back. I have had several, but this one is near the top of the list. About 11-1/2"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. |
