THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This mid-century Motorola is one of the most sought-after collectible Retro radio designs. Nicknamed the "Turbine" Motorola for obvious reasons. The original blah-blah brown cabinet has been professionally redone in beautiful fire engine red. These turbine models were very susceptible to heat cracks along the top, and often missing or cracked plastic nose cones. I think about 90% of these models had those kind of problems. This set had no cracks or damage of any kind. It just needed a new striking standout color. This vintage tabletop tube AM radio, manufactured by Motorola in 1956 is in good working condition, picking up all my local AM stations. About 15"W x 5"H x 5-1/2"D.
