Black dial Pre-War Zenith model 6-D-525 in a beautiful original finish solid walnut case, one of only a few Zenith cases attributed to the Ingraham Cabinet Company of Bristol, CT, which developed an outstanding capability for making cabinets in complex shapes. This model is one of the last production runs before Zenith switched over to WWII operations. This case really looks fantastic, just about like the day it came off the showroom shelf. The radio has a unique design where tube heat is released through slats in the case. This six-tube chassis has been gone over by a pro, and all tubes, resistors and capacitors that required changing were replaced. The radio is playing clearly, picking up all my local AM stations with no annoying filter hum. The dial lamp work fine. It has its "Z" knobs, "Z" dial pointer, and a nice perfect FYLP replacement back. This is one of my favorite Zenith models, and this one is really nice. About 11-1/2"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. Free Shipping to USA. $329.00. (1150871)
