THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a beautiful pre-War 1941 Philco in excellent working condition, one of the most visually appealing and handsome clock radios Philco ever made. The case has been completely professionally restored using the best toning and finishing lacquers. There are no cracks, veneer chips or breaks in the walnut case. There is a perfect back on the radio, and original label on the bottom. The clock has been running for several days, and is keeping good time. The radio chassis has been recapped and is playing very well with no filter hum, picking up all my local AM stations clearly. The dial light is working and bright, and both dial covers are in place and clear. It's a two band set, and the second band is the old Dick Tracy police band, and there is not anything to hear these days. It has its original bullet knobs and grille cloth. A really handsome Philco. About 15"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. |
