THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This very tiny 1953 Zenith portable is commonly referred to as the "Owl Eyes" for obvious reasons. This midget Zenith had a few minor repairs and then professionally repainted in beautiful Christmas red. The metal inserts are still inside the original knobs. The radio comes with its special AC cord, and is playing strongly and clearly, picking up all my local AM stations clearly with no problems. The chassis has been checked completely by a pro, everything needing replaced and updated was done. It's a four-tube set with the antenna built right into the handle. "Zenith: The quality goes in before the name goes on!" Very cute and very small! Wonderful set for any collector for Christmas. About 6-1/2"W x 4-1/2"H x 4"D.
