RCA 46-X-11 (1940)

RCA 46-X-11 (1940)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
This 1940 Pre-War RCA is one of my very favorite radio models. It just has that majestic, stately look of early 40's RCA sets made in Camden, NJ. The radio has been completely restored, everything needing changing out was completely done. The case had no cracks, chips or other issues. You hear of a lot of radios picking up their local stations, but this chassis is tuning in stations all over everywhere clearly, especially at night. The radio has a big 5-inch speaker that really sounds great. It has three original knobs, and the middle knob performs two functions: two levels of tone, and switching broadcast bands. The SW band is the old Police Dick Tracy band without much on it. It also has a perfect new replacement back on the case. It it a substantial radio weighing in at about 4-5 pounds. About 12"W x 8"H x 7"D.
