THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
1946 Setchell-Carlson model 416, affectionately known as a "Frog Eye," in a rare two tone cobalt blue and ivory Plaskon case, that has not been painted. Sometimes people paint these sets in various colors, but this is an original model made of blue and ivory Plaskon. These Plaskon radios are hard to find without any damage, as the cases are thin, making them susceptible to breakage, stress lines and cracks. This case is in perfect condition, no damage or cosmetic issues. The inside is super clean, as these sets have an inverted chassis. It has been completely checked, and the radio is playing clearly picking up all my local AM stations without any problem. It's a small radio at about 10"W x 6-1/2"H x 6"D. |
