| Very tiny 1953 Zenith portable is commonly referred to as the "Owl Eyes" for obvious reasons. This radio is in perfect condition with no cosmetic issues like chips, cracks or hairline cracks. The handle isn't broken, a common occurrence on this radio, and the "Zenith" lettering on the handle is also in super original condition. The metal inserts are still inside the knobs. The radio comes with its special cord, and is playing strongly and clearly, picking up all my local AM stations clearly with no problems. The chassis has been checked completely by a pro. It's a four-tube set with the antenna built right into the handle. "Zenith: The quality goes in before the name goes on!" Very cute and very small! About 6-1/2"W x 4-1/2"H x 4"D. |
