Zenith 7H822Z AM/FM "Triumph" (1949)
(Bakelite tube table radio w/FM)

Zenith 7H822Z AM/FM "Triumph" (1949)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great antique radio, because you have both AM and FM broadcast bands to listen to. This Zenith diagonal dial model in rich brown Bakelite was an early Zenith entry into both AM and FM bandwidths. This radio is difficult to find without any cosmetic damage. This case has no chips, cracks or hairline cracks. They are also very hard to find with the brass Zenith eagle crest still on the case. Most fell off, or were pulled off by naughty children. The set has been checked by a professional, everything needing replaced was done, and it is playing excellent on both AM and FM. Three front knobs for band selection, tuning, on/off/volume, and there is a side knob for tone. The original back is on the case. A nice example of Zenith history and case design, as well as a great set to listen to. About 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D.
