THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a Crosley Retro icon from the early 1950's inspired by mid century automotive styling, in a beautifully completely restored blue gray silver case. The professionally baked on painted case was done in an automotive body shop, and is in a color you seldom see. No cheap spray can finish here. There were no cracks or breaks, so no structural repairs were required or made. The colored coordinated clock and two front knobs are in place, the clock has been oiled and is working quietly and keeping time. The clock and dial escutcheons are in decent condition, showing only normal wear after almost 80 years. The radio has been gone over by a professional and is working and playing all my local AM stations clearly. The cosmetic condition is excellent. The original back is present. About 13"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D. |
