THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A beautiful pre-War Black Dial Zenith, a close cousin of the easier to find model 6-D-525. The case features nice faux Art Deco photo finish trim along the front bottom and top, and the bottom sides. The walnut veneer case is in good condition, with no splits or breaks. The knobs are original, and the case has a perfect Zenith reproduction back in place. The chassis has been gone over, and is a strong player, picking up all my local AM stations clearly with its wave magnet internal loop antenna. The dial lamp is also working fine. This is a fairly rare Zenith, and not easily found in good condition. A lot of people make the mistake of trying to refinish these cases, which means bye-bye to the faux decorative trim! This goes into the category of lessons learned in the past! About 11-1/2"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D.
