THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Canadian Westinghouse model 501 radio from 1948 in excellent condition. This radio was sold by Eaton's, once Canada's largest department store chain. These sets came in several pastel colors, along with walnut and black. They are three way sets, in that they can sit on either side, or on the end in an upright position, or they can be hung on a wall. This case is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or hairline cracks. The orange "clown" nose lights up when the set is on. The chassis has been recapped, and the radio is playing fine picking up all my local AM stations clearly. The original back is on the radio, and in excellent condition. About 9"W x 5"H x 5"D. |
