THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This classic Art Deco pre-War Philco trapezoid shaped radio was introduced in the Fall of 1939 for the 1940 model year. It comprises both a Sessions self-starting clock and an AM broadcast band radio. The neat compact case is finished in book matched walnut veneers with maple inlays. The case has been professionally refinished and is in beautiful condition, with just a few nicks. The radio has its original back, often missing on this set. The clock is working fine, keeping decent time once it starts off. The radio has been completely checked by a professional, and all tubes, resistors and capacitors were changed out that were needed. The radio is playing fine, picking up all my local stations clearly. Philco PT-69 label on the bottom. About 11-1/2"W (bottom) x 9-1/2"W (top) x 8-1/2"H x 6"D. |
