This Retro two-tone 1956 AM/FM set is a classically designed Zenith from the early years of FM reception. It has a very imposing look and size at 13"W x 7"H x 7"D. The chassis is a seven tubes, and it's been recapped and aligned by a professional, and the radio plays fine an both AM and FM. With not too much to listen to on AM these days, it's nice to have a great variety of formats available on the FM band, like Pop, Country, Classical, NPR or Jazz. The semicircular dial shows both the AM and FM station positions, and a neat dial pointer. The radio still has its original back and knobs. The case is in very nice condition, with no cracks, chips or breaks.
