THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This Crosley "Buick front" color radio is a retro icon from the 1950's and is in super nice condition. "MN" stands for the maroon colored version. The three maroon color coordinated clock knobs are in place and the clock is working fine, keeping good time. These sets are usually judged by the wear on the brass color escutcheons, as they are not completely brass and can't be polished without removing the finish. These two clock & dial escutcheons have very little wear, and are about the best condition I have seen on this radio in 25 years of collecting. The radio has been recapped and is working and playing all my local AM stations nicely. No cracks, chips or hairline cracks, and hardly any paint chips. The original back is present. The ad shown is for a 1951 radio, but is the totally same radio as the 1953 D-25 series sets. About 13"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D. |
