THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Fire engine red Jewel from 1953 in a beautiful undamaged plastic case. Manufactured by Datom Industries, New York, NY, these sets were sold at the height of the mid-50's Retro craze in America. Available in several colors, but this fire engine red color is an absolute killer. The pics tend to make it have an orange cast, but it is red. No cracks, chips or breaks, just a few rubs from over the years. Full label on the bottom including tube information. The cord is in great shape, and the radio is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations. This radio is a standout eye catcher sitting anywhere. About 8-1/2"W x 5-1/2"H x 5"D. |
