THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A black dial pre-War Zenith in a nice professionally refinished solid walnut case, one of only a few Zenith cases attributed to the Ingraham Cabinet Company. One of the last production runs before Zenith switched over to wartime operations. These cases really look fantastic after they are restored. The radio has a unique design where tube heat is released through slats in the case. Sometimes referred to as "the toaster." The chassis has been gone over by a pro, and all tubes, resistors and capacitors that required changing were replaced. The radio is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations with no annoying filter hum. The dial lamp work fine. It has its original "Z" knobs, "Z" dial pointer, and a nice Retro-Tronics replacement back. About 11-1/2"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. |
