Philco PT-46 (1939)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Philco PT-46 (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A very rare Philco in a beautiful swirled mint Bakelite case. Only 4,500 were made. Perfect undamaged condition, no cosmetic issues at all. A perfect Retro-Tronics back on the set. Great Art Deco front louvered design with six original pushbuttons, very characteristic of sets produced following Philco's buy-out of Sandusky Simplex Corp. Philco "Transitone" on the dial face. The radio is playing very well with no annoying filter hum, even better with its antenna wire laid out. I don't believe you will ever find this set in better condition. A compact size at 9-3/4"W x 6-1/2"H x 4-1/2"D.
