THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A perfect Motorola 56H in fire engine red, a Retro styled 1950's icon with its famous torpedo dial. Yes, I know it didn't come in this color, but I think it should have. I hope you will agree that it's a nice improvement on brown Bakelite. This model came in the following colors: ivory, turquoise and brown. The turquoise and ivory sets are notorious for hairline cracks; the brown sets are usually fine, but the color is so blah. This brown set was in perfect condition, just needed a better color. The chassis was completely gone over replacing all that was needed, and the radio plays great, picking up all my local stations clearly. The clear torpedo dial cover is perfect. About 11-1/2"W x 5-1/2"H x 5"D. |
