| A black dial pre-War Zenith in a beautiful professionally refinished solid walnut case, one of only a few Zenith cases attributed to the Ingraham Cabinet Company. One of the last production runs before Zenith switched over to WWII operations. These cases just look fantastic after they are refinished, like the day they came off the showroom floor. The radio has a unique design where tube heat is released through slats in the case, hence its nickname "Toaster." The chassis has been gone over by a pro, and all tubes, resistors and capacitors that required changing were replaced. The radio is playing nicely, picking up all my local AM stations with no annoying filter hum. The dial lamp work fine. It has its original "Z" knobs, "Z" dial pointer, and a nice Retro-Tronics replacement back. I have had several, but this is just about the best ever. Shipping anywhere in the continental USA will run $28 by FedEx. About 11-1/2"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. |
