THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Post-War Westinghouse "Little Jewel" fridge radio completely professionally restored. The radio case is in excellent condition, and has no cracks, chips, hairline cracks or repairs. The original ivory case suffered from many paint chips, which necessitated a repaint. The brass metal pieces are also in very nice condition and have been polished to a beautiful shine. These sets were supposedly given away with purchases of Westinghouse refrigerators after World War II. This radio has been recapped and is playing very well, clearly picking up all my local AM stations. The dial lamp lights up behind the maroon dial, which is not warped like many are. It would look terrific in any collection. Cute size at 9"H x 6"W x 5"D. |
