THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A beautiful completely refinished Emerson radio designed by Norman Bel Geddes. Bel Geddes was one of America's most prolific and industrial designers of the 1930's and 1940's. He designed many table and console radios for both Emerson & Philco, as well as trains, planes and automobiles. This five-tube set has a great dial and curved top case. The model number is on the bottom, and it has a perfect Retro-Tronics back on the back. The knobs are original. The chassis has been completely checked, and everything that needed replacing was changed. The radio plays very well, picking up all my local AM stations. About 10"W x 7"H x 5"D. |
