THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A classically designed Zenith from the end of WWII right after the company stopped war time production. Zenith had some really great radio designers in their employment. The black Bakelite case is in excellent condition with no cosmetic issues like cracks, chips or hairlines. The cases on this model often have damage from carrying the radio by the handle. The dial light works fine, and the red indicator light is bright when the radio is on. The brass plate is shiny and polished. It is a six-tube chassis, so it plays really nicely, picking up all my local AM stations, and many distant stations at night. The model number is stamped on the bottom, and the case has a nice Retro-Tronics replacement back. About 12-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D. |
