THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A beautifully refinished and restored 1939 Philco radio. Six push buttons, and original Philco knobs and grille cloth. It has a super looking lit-up dial. This is a heavy chassis with a power transformer. The radio is playing pretty well with its antenna wire extended. Since it has a power transformer, there is a little low grade hum between tuning in stations, but not very noticeable when on a station. It picks up all my local AM stations fine. There is a replacement back on the case, and a label inside the case with its model number from 1939. This radio originally sold for $23.50. About 11"W x 7-1/2"H x 6"D. |
