THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Streamlined 1949 Airline radio sold by Montgomery Ward with an Art Deco look of the late 1930's. An almost identical set was made and sold by Belmont as a model 6-D-121. Six push buttons, an on/off volume knob, and a side tuning knob are all original. The sunrise dials with clock dial pointers on these radios are really stunning, especially when lit up. There are no cracks, chips or other cosmetic problems. Original Airline back is on the case. The chassis is in great condition, has been checked by a pro, and is playing well picking up all my local AM stations. About 13"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D. |
