| Well, maybe we can't bring back our former president, but we certainly can bring back this Clinton! This circa 1938 wood tone metal radio is a classic, and an absolutely killer dial if there ever was one. It's in the best condition of all these sets I have seen in many years of collecting. Great wood tone painted case, and original grille cloth & knobs. It has two bands, but the second band is the old police band. I have seen these sets sold under different names, but they all seem to be made by the same company in Chicago. The chassis has been completely gone over, and the radio is playing, picking up many AM stations, but you really need a lot of antenna cord extended as I have been told the volume is enhanced by a long antenna wire. This is a rare radio in this kind of condition. About 9"W x 7"H x 6"D. |
