THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
The FADA Catalin "Bullet" is a true classic radio. Named for Frank Angelo D'Andrea who founded the company in 1921. With its sleek rounded case, it's obvious how it received its "Bullet" name. FADA produced many radios over the years, but is best known for its Catalin models. This Catalin maroon case and butterscotch trim is in great condition, no cracks, chips, hairline cracks or tube burns. Everything is original except its reproduction back. It's truly an icon of industrial design suggesting speed and movement. The radio is playing very well, clearly picking up all my local AM stations although I would not recommend extended playing as nothing good is likely to happen! Any questions, or more pictures, just ask. About 10"W x 6-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D. |
