THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Pre-War 1939 radio in beautiful original condition. The case has no chips, cracks, hairline cracks or repairs of any kind. This Deco set was designed by Robert Budlong, a Zenith designer who was responsible for many of Zenith's classic radio case designs. Known by collectors as the "Beehive" or "Pancake" radio. The chassis is a very strong performer with six tubes, and it has been recapped. I was able to listen to all my local AM stations clearly. New replacement back from Retro-Tronics. Super Deco dial. The brown Bakelite case still looks great without significant fading. About 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. |
