This 1938 midget Detrola is an Art Deco icon. It was designed for Detrola Radio by George W. Walker, one of America's most prolific industrial & automotive designers. His most famous auto design was the original Ford Thunderbird. This classic radio is in perfect condition, the beautiful two toned case has no cosmetic damage. It has its original "Pee Wee" back. The chassis is in nice shape, and the radio is playing well also. The plastic dial has a tiny warpage as 99% of these sets have. About 8"W x 4-1/2"H x 4-1/2"D.
