THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This beautiful black Bakelite Silvertone midget bullet with contrasting ivory knobs was made for Sears Roebuck by Detrola. The case is undamaged, no cosmetic problems at all. The back is in place and original. The cord is original also. It's one of the great Art Deco radio designs from the late 1930's. It has a five-tube chassis with a built-in loop antenna. The radio has been completely checked by a professional, and is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations. The dial lamp lights up the ivory dial from behind. The size is a small 8-1/4"W x 5"H x 4-1/2"D. |
