THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
GE produced a lot of radio models, but these late 1930's sets had incredible brown and tan mottling in the cabinets. This model is in excellent condition. The swirling & marbling in the Bakelite case really create a stunning look. It's been recapped and is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations without any annoying filter hum. It came without a built-in loop antenna, so it uses an antenna wire, but reception is not a problem at all. The case is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or hairline cracks. All knobs are original. The back is a cut replacement. It's a very hard set to find without any damage at all. Midget sized at 7"W x 4-1/2"H x 4"D. |
