THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
One of the most Art Deco radios Philco ever made, introduced in August 1939. The walnut finish on this cabinet is original, and is in excellent condition. The Plaskon trim is also very nice. It has its original back, handle and label on the bottom. Two bands, AM and the old SW police band. The chassis has been checked by a pro, and the radio is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations. A killer dial when lit up. Philco made this model in five versions: Ivory trim, red trim, blue trim, green trim and brown trim. The fewest made were in red, green & blue. About 9"W x 6"H x 6"D. |
