THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Incredible Art Deco Zenith styling in this 1939 radio designed by Robert Budlong, one of Zenith's most prolific designers. This set is the sister of the Model 6-D-311, but was the first model to use a rear Wave Magnet antenna. It is in excellent undamaged condition, no cracks, chips or hairline cracks. It originally sold for $19.95 in 1939. A truly beautiful example of the glory years of Zenith design. The radio has been completely gone over, everything needing replacing was replaced. Plays fine picking up all my local AM stations. About 10"W x 6-1/2"H x 8-1/2"D. |
