THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Beautiful Montgomery Ward Airline radio from 1939, made for Montgomery Ward by Wells Gardner. Originally sold for $12.45. The green tuning eye is working, as well as the radio. Tunes in all my local AM stations loud & clear using six tubes. This is an extremely difficult radio to find without cracks to the Bakelite case, or damage to the dial or plastic cover. This radio has no cracks, no chips, no hairlines. And the dial and plastic cover are in excellent shape. Great dial lamp lights up a cool dial with station names shown. Most of the original back is on the case. About 11"W x 8"H x 7"D. |
