THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Westinghouse "Little Jewel" fridge radio completely restored and professionally painted in a beautiful red color. The radio case is in excellent condition, and has no cracks, chips, hairline cracks or repairs. The original ivory case had many paint chips, which necessitated a repaint. The metal pieces are also in very nice original condition. These sets were supposedly given away with purchases of Westinghouse refrigerators after World War II. This radio is playing very well, picking up all my local AM stations. The dial lamp lights up behind the maroon dial, which is not warped like many are. It would look terrific in your collection next to the original colors of ivory, burgundy, light green and forest green. Cute at 9"H x 6"W x 5"D. |
