THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A really nice example of this Emerson radio that resembles a set of books, "History of Nations," eight volumes. Open the door on the right, and you expose the radio. I am guessing on the year, as the dial is the same as the Model 543 from 1947. The case is in nice condition, a few bumps and scratches, but no major cosmetic problems. The door hinge has been reinforced with color coordinated binding tape, and the door opens & closes perfectly. Many of these sets are completely missing the door. It has its original back. The chassis has been checked by a professional, and everything needing changing was replaced. The dial lamp works fine, and the set plays fine, picking up all my local AM stations. 13"W x 8"H x 8"D. |
