THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A must have in any radio collection, this Truetone is in excellent condition. No cracks, chips, hairline cracks or repairs of any kind. Beautiful large colorful dial and undamaged dial cover. The "Truetone" name is illuminated when the radio is on. Originally sold in Western Auto Stores. The ivory painted case had several paint chips, so it was repainted by a professional body shop in a perfect match of its original color. It has its original metal back cover and there are reproduction labels on the bottom. The radio is playing very well with no annoying filter hum at all, picking up all my local AM stations. This radio exhibits a Deco design and classical lines much earlier than its 1946 date. Almost midget sized at about 10-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 6"D.
