THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio with a "boomerang" style dial was one of Zenith's last production runs before switching over to WWII production. Wonderful case design by Robert Budlong, one of Zenith's most prolific radio designers. Four pushbuttons for "Voice, Alto, Treble & Bass." Two front butterscotch knobs with original grille cloth. This case is in beautiful professionally refinished condition using multiple original toning lacquers, with a small photo finish trim in front. A scratch or two, but no veneer issues, no splits or other problems. A reproduction Retro-Tronics back is fit perfectly on the back of the set. The radio plays very well, and has been gone over by a pro, replacing everything that needed replacing. About 12-1/2"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D. |
