Zenith 7-S-529 (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A magnificent pre-War Zenith in first class all original condition. This case has not been refinished. One of the last Zenith runs before switching over to wartime production. A very hard radio to find with the original walnut cabinet in this wonderful condition. The photo finish trim is excellent, there is no missing or lifting veneer, no bad scratches or gouges. The grille cloth is original, the dial glass is undamaged, and the brass pieces are very shiny. Five pushbuttons. A perfect Retro-Tronics replacement back on the radio. There is a new cord for safety. The chassis has been gone over by a professional; all tubes, capacitors and resistors that needed changing were changed out. This set picks up several bands, not just AM, and it picks them up fine. A strong player. An extended antenna is best for short-wave bands reception. Beautiful brass "Z" dial pointer and Automatic Zenith Tuning. Just a beautiful example of Zenith engineering. About 15-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H x 10"D.
