THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A pre-War "picnic portable" in a tweed fabric covering from Philco. This radio just screams retro, even though it's a 1941 set. The set still has its original leather handle in good shape. The fabric covering is in excellent condition with no tears or rips. The Tenite grille and escutcheon are also in good shape, not badly warped as many are. The back snaps on tightly. The dial has a great design. And best of all, the chassis has been gone over, and the set plays well picking up all my local AM stations with no annoying filter hum. About 12-1/2"W x 11"H x 6"D. |
